The store manager Greg is absolutely top notch. Not only did he work with me and my budget, but he did so by explaining minimum fixes to ensure safety and best care for my vehicle. As I waited in the waiting room, I get to hear him manage a disrespectful and wrong customer with such great class and service. Put any doubt about this location to rest. Get your car serviced here!

Kelsi has been phenomenal with helping me today when I found myself in a tire emergency during a roadtrip. I had to get three tires replaced yesterday at another chain store and they weren't able to give me an alignment due to time restraints but I was able to schedule an appointment today here before I drive down to Palm Springs tomorrow from Oakland. They also did a full check up for an additional 10 dollars which was a great offer. Thank you Kelsi and the Oakland Firestone team for accommodating me on a Sunday!

Aye y'all ,I wanna give huge shoutout to Firestone Oakland for redefining what “tire service” means. I brought my car in for ONE tire, dropped it off like instructed, and somehow four appointments later I still do not have a tire. Honestly impressive. At this point I’m starting to think the tire is being handcrafted by artisans somewhere overseas. Every visit was the same experience: zero communication, endless waiting, and a new excuse every time. I’d show up thinking maybe, just maybe, today would be the day they accomplish the impossible task of installing a tire. Nope. Apparently that level of innovation is still beyond reach. The best part is how casual everyone acts about wasting your time. Appointments seem to mean absolutely nothing here. You can drop your car off, rearrange your schedule, call for updates nobody answers, and still leave exactly where you started — except more annoyed. I will never patronize this location again. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to participate in a customer service social experiment, Firestone Oakland is the place for you. Four appointments. No tire. Incredible consistency. Bravo!

I've been using Firestone for 4 years now, and today was the first time I got "not great" service. They didn't call me and tell me my car was ready, as I drove away I heard "flap, flap, flap" where the new tire I got replaced still had the sticker on the tire treads, they didn't rotate the tires either. And this is the first time they didn't honor my AAA discount. not cool. The only reason its a 2 and not 1 star, there was only one guy there, working real hard to give us our cars (and take our money) though his manager was quick to respond via text to him that they don't honor any discounts.

When I called and made an appointment for an oil change, I was told I need to wait 1 hour. When I checked in my car at the appointment time, I was promised 1.5 hour waiting. I waited at the lobby for 1.5 hour, no technician even started working my car. When I checked with the counter staff, I was given the choice either to continue waiting or take my car back without service. No apology at all. Their triple promise includes Right On Time. This really disappointed me.
